When I paint what I feel, it's always a surprise what shows up on the artwork. After this conglomeration of colors and shapes from my heart showed up, the gold paint came out and when I was done, I realized that inside the mix of emotions and shapes and colors, were gold shapes that reminded me of God's activities within the mess and joys we refer to as out everyday lives. A lot of joy comes shining through.
