After days of camping under gray skies, the sun greeted us and this painting was born in my imagination. Many weeks later it was actually painted. But the memory of the delight of Iowa farmland, sheep grazing and flag flying all nestled quietly beneath Iowa's magnificent clouds as the sun sparkles was still fresh in my mind.
